Wiki.Post-Apocalyptic.Info – Wikified List Of Post-Apocalyptic Fiction - Part 2

Just made a major update to the wiki page at Wiki.Post-Apocalyptic.Info. As I mentioned in the last post, Chanda Phelan compiled a great list of post-apocalyptic fiction, and even has started her own wiki version of the list.

Tonight I compared the works in the original Wikipedia article, which seeded my list, with those in Chanda's list, and pulled over more than 200 entries that Excel's advanced filter function said were different.

Not only did that bring Wiki.Post-Apocalyptic.Info up to over 400 entries, but it highlighted just how lacking the Wikipedia page was. Hopefully, the added exposure the new wiki might enjoy being more closely tied to the community will mean that we'll be able to keep it fresh, and make it the most comprehensive list of post-apocalyptic fiction on the web.

You may want to look at this Google doc. It look like it has a bunch of items on it.

Wow, there's over 700 items on that list. Who compiled it? Though it would be cool if it included links or synopses of the books as well. Thanks for mentioning it.

I totally stumbled across this with google. I run a post-apocalyptia blog and I'm always on the lookout for new material. If anyone wants to see their material up on the blog just submit it to http://postapocalyptia.tumblr.com/submit/ . I always give credit where credit is due and will link back to your website with the post. Thanks.
