Lucifer is Fallen...

Those of you who recognize the "Lucifer is fallen" reference have probably already read A Canticle for Leibowitz, or you've listened to the fantastic full cast radio drama version from Wisconsin Public Radio, that I just finished today.

It's been over ten years since since I read the book, so even though I knew the general plot, I had forgotten a lot of the detail, which was a good thing, since it let me experience the story all over again.

It ran about six and a half hours in 15 parts, with about 5 episodes per each major section of the book. The acting is great and the music and monks chanting really add to the atmosphere.

Apparently it's no longer available directly from Wisconsin Public Radio, but if you fire up your favorite torrent search site, you can find it easily, and I highly recommend that you do.
