Last Man Anthology - Submit Your Works Now

If you're like most fans of the post-apocalyptic genre, you've got an idea or two for an end of the world story rattling around in your head. Well, if your idea is any good, now might be the time to get down to business and get it down on paper, because the folks at Sword & Saga Press might be willing to give it a read.

They're currently accepting submissions for their upcoming Last Man Anthology:Tales of Catastrophe, Disaster and Woe, which is set to be released later this summer. They describe the Anthology as "... a compilation of fiction and poetry celebrating the storytelling of Mary Shelley, the mother of science fiction. Taking inspiration from Shelley's novel, The Last Man, the anthology showcases short stories and poetry that build on the theme of finality--of being last."

Separately, they're also running their first annual "End of the World Contest", and it looks like they're going to be printing the first edition of their Last Man Magazine this winter.

All in all, it sounds like it's a good time to be an aspiring post-apocalyptic writer. Hmmm... maybe I'll send them my post-apocalyptic blessing...
