Vote on the 2011 Zombie Safe House Competition
Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 1:03PM
Architects Southwest, and architectural group from Louisiana, is running their second annual Zombie Safe House Competition, and voting on the best designs is now open.
The competition gave designers free reign on location and budget but asked that submissions address:
- How many people can you fit in your safe house?
- How are you handling power, potable water, and waste?
- How are you handling access to your safe house?
- How many days do you plan to stay in your safe house, and how much food and water are you providing?
- How will you escape in the event of a zombie intrusion?
- How will you keep zombies out of your safe house?
The official winners will be determined by a panel of judges, which includes names like Max Brooks and Simon Clark, but all of the 200 entries are posted, and available for the public to vote on.
Take a look at https://zombiesafehouse.wordpress.com if you'd like to register your opinion on the best way to survive the zombocalypse.
Public voting ends on 10/31/2011.
