Apocapalooza Saturday March 5 To Support Hollywood Wasteland

I posted a while back about a new web series called Hollywood Wasteland, directed by Post-Apocalyptic Forum-member Matt Newcomb.  Since then, they've produced four episodes, and have now launched an IndieGoGo campaign, which apparently works similarly to KickStarter, to support the filiming of the final five episodes in season one.

The series has been great so far, so I had no problem chipping in a few bucks to support their efforts.  Check out their press release on the campaign below, including a live event, "Apocapalooza", happening this coming Saturday, March 5 in North Hollywood. Fun fan-centered events, IndieGoGo campaign will support the creation of five new episodes

LOS ANGELES - On March 1, 2011, the series "Hollywood Wasteland" launches an IndieGoGo campaign aimed at gathering the funding needed for the final five episodes for the series' first season.

Accompanying the IndieGoGo campaign are several fan-centered events to ramp the series' support into high gear. The first event, "Apocapalooza", will take place on Saturday, March 5 from 7-10pm, offering fans and friends free drinks, live music, free kung fu demonstrations, special announcements, and more.
