Depleted: Day 419

A few months back, I let you know about a new project called World of Depleted, a shared-story world where anyone can apply to be a creator of content that adds to the post-apocalyptic universe of the story. So far, they've accumulated a short film and several short stories, and have created quite an extensive backstory and mythology.

They're now about to release the next milestone in their project, the 22-minute short film Depleted: Day 419. Written and directed by World of Depleted co-founder, Jeremy Hanke, Day 419 follows the journey of forger Jenna Whitmore as she must discover the secrets her mentor Gavin has left for her, learn from her Dark Dreams, and get out of Maysbridge, KY alive.

Eventually, it will be available as a four-episode serial, but you can watch the film in its entirety right now, and show your support for the project, for just $1.99.

Check it out below, or on the World of Depleted site.
