PA-Chat.com - Post-Apocalyptic Live Chat

A lot of visitors to the site have noticed the Live Chat link in the menu at the top, and have stopped by to say hello, but for those of you who haven't yet, I wanted to bring it up again.

That link will take you to PA-Chat.com, which, as far as I know, is the only always on, all post-apocalyptic live chat on the web. The page itself is nothing special, and is actually just a front end for our IRC channel, so if you'd like to join us, you can use the site (no registration required, just choose a username), or you can use your own client and go directly to #postapoc on SynIRC.net.

I won't say there's always a conversation going on in there, but if you do drop in, you're likely to find Fear from ExitofHumanity.com, King of the Wastes from the Post-Apocalyptic Earth Blog, or TintedGrey or Corny from the Post-Apocalyptic Forum, and all more than willing to discuss books, movies, games or anything else related to the post-apocalyptic genre.

And if you have your own site, blog, or project relating to one of those topics, you're welcome to use the chat room as your own.  I tweaked the page to remove any branding particular to my sites, so I'm hoping that others will adopt it as a generic post-apocalyptic chat, and link to it from their own sites.

This is definitely a case of "the more, the merrier" so the more audiences we can gather participants from, the better our conversations can be.

Hope to have you join us sometime.
